1. Purpose

Mosman College provides support services to help students access training, understand course requirements, participate in learning and assessment, and progress through their studies.

2. Available Support

Support may include:

  • course and academic support
  • language, literacy and numeracy support or referral
  • learning and study planning support
  • welfare guidance
  • reasonable adjustment support where appropriate and practicable
  • referral to external support services where appropriate
  • information about accommodation, transport, and community services where relevant

3. Accessing Support

Students may request support at any time before or during their course by contacting Mosman College at `office@mosman.group`.

Support needs may also be identified during application, orientation, training delivery, assessment, course progress monitoring, or student meetings.

Where a student requires support or adjustment, Mosman College may document the request, agreed action, referral, or support strategy in accordance with its approved student support and records management processes.

4. Limitations

Mosman College will take reasonable steps to support students within the scope of its services. Where specialised support is needed, Mosman College may refer the student to an appropriate external provider.

Support may be provided by authorised Mosman College staff or, where appropriate, through referral to external specialists. Any costs charged by an external provider are generally the responsibility of the student unless otherwise advised.

5. Records

Mosman College keeps support-related records in accordance with its records management obligations and privacy requirements. Information is handled confidentially, subject to lawful disclosure requirements and the need to coordinate support effectively.
